Adding Cart Storefront to DataFeedWatch

Ewa Kulik Updated by Ewa Kulik

To integrate your Cart Storefront shop with our DataFeedWatch App, first, you need to add our DFW app to your Cart.com's Apps & Addons. Then specify, the permission scope.

To make this process smooth, open your Cart.com dashboard in one tab and your DataFeedWatch dashboard on the other to have both at hand ;)

Next, we’ll go together through the process of adding your Cart Storefront Shop to our DataFeedWatch App.

  1. Log in to your Cart.com admin dashboard.
  2. On the left-hand menu panel, navigate to Tools and click on it.
  3. When a drop-down menu opens, click on Apps & Addons.

Ensure you’re in the API Token Manager.

  1. At the top-right corner, click on the blue button New.
  2. The New App form will slide out.
  3. Fulfill the form:
    1. Step 1: In the field App Name, introduce the name of our App: DFW APP.
    2. Click Next at the top right-hand corner.
    1. Step 2: As an Authentication Flow, select the first option: Single Token Flow.
    2. The name of your store should appear automatically. If the name has not appeared, or you want to select another store, please select the right shop's name from the drop-down menu
    3. In the permission scope, go to Catalog Permissions and select View catalog data.
    4. Click on the blue button Save at the top right corner.

You can manage your permission tokens for our app anytime from your Cart.com’s access token menu.

  1. Step 3: Set Up Instructions. This step provides you with all the essential information about managing an access token for our app. Read this handy information before you proceed.
  2. Click on the blue button Finish at the top-right corner.

Important! Don’t close your Cart.com dashboard; stay on your API Token Manager. You will need it later to proceed.
